When I began putting together this premium substack, I didn’t consider how to create premium content. Especially regarding my thoughts on creative work. All I know is what I would have wanted ten years ago and what I would say to my younger self. Maybe you are interested in the same things little Meghan was interested in too.

For this premium post, we will focus on a scene from JUSTICE LEAGUE vs RWBY: SUPER HEROES AND HUNTSMEN PART 1. (The longest title known to man. Sometimes you don’t name your own movies, and that’s okay.)

So, for those of you who haven’t seen the movie, let me provide some context for the scene (and honestly, you should see it— it’s a fun time, even if you don’t know anything about the Justice League or RWBY).

Buy JUSTICE LEAGUE vs RWBY

In this scene, the Justice League has arrived in RWBY’s world of Remnant, all aged down to teenagers. (We will get to that decision in a bit). Here, (most of) Team RWBY has finally met (most of) Team Justice League.

This scene takes place about a quarter of the way through the movie, if you’re a big Save the Cat fan (worth the read if you haven’t).

Now, let’s take a look at the script for the scene.
